Overview
Every tariff and export control code in traide now shows its last action - the person who set or most recently changed the code, and exactly when they did it. Now it's visible right on the decision itself.
This applies per decision, across two areas:
Tariff codes — per nomenclature type: CN, TARIC, EZT, HTSUS, UKGT, NOT, and TARES (up to 7 per product)
Export control codes — per regulation: EU Dual-Use, and DE Ausfuhrliste Part 1 Section A / Section B
Where you'll see it-
Attribution shows up everywhere a code decision does :
In the core data table, each code decision displays its Classified by / Classified at pair.
Project table views carry the same attribution per decision row.
On the product detail view, you'll find an attribution card in the code-detail sidebar, plus a tooltip on the code badge itself.
On a PDF justification document, Classified by and Classified at are printed directly on the page.
A bulk export (CSV or Excel) includes attribution columns, covering export control codes as well as tariff codes.
How to read the labels ?
Classified by / Classified at show who set the current code and when. If the code changes, the label updates to reflect the latest change. For example: Max sets CN 123 on July 5, then Luis changes it to CN 456 on July 6 — the label now reads "Classified by Luis XX, July 6, 12:56 PM."
Imported code decision appears on codes with no human actor behind them — for example, codes added through a bulk upload or automated system matching. In these cases, Classified at shows the time of the bulk upload rather than a person's action.
